What is a spider dog??
Sorry it has taken one of us this long to answer your question "what is a spider dog". Well a spider dog is made when you take a hot dog (length wise) and cut a cross shape in both ends. Then you put it on a roasting stick and cook it over the camp fire!! As the hot dog gets warm the ends that you cut begin to curl up making it look like a spider!! Once the spider dog is done you top with ketchup and enjoy!!!

Well it is about time, you guys are now up in the times with the rest of us back here in Charlotte County, those are a staple when you go on the wheelers with nannie and grampie.
I'm so glad you have had a spider dog. All the grandkids here like them ever so much cooked on an open fire when we are out in the argo or down at the pond skating in the brrr months which by the way are right around the corner.
Mmmmm...cheese.
